Here at Yugen Wisdom, we have a wide range of clients that come to see us for many different reasons. Some people have visited or consulted with a medium before on many occasions and others are coming for the first time. Either way, psychics and mediums can work differently, and like anything in life, preparation is essential to make the most of your time.

Prepare Mentally

What’s on your mind that caused you to make an appointment for a reading? There may be many reasons you are now seeking that higher wisdom and guidance.

A day or so before your session, take a little time and think about the questions you would like to ask, or the areas you would like to cover during your reading.

Always be prepared to receive other information that you may not have asked for or expected. At Yugen we always give what is given. It’s not like a script, if the loved ones in the Spiritual realms give us other information, we are compelled to give it.

Most of all come with an open heart and mind.

Relax and be open

It’s totally normal to be nervous prior to a reading. It’s our job to allow you to feel comfortable and to assure you that the ‘sitting’ or ‘reading’ is normal and that you are supported.

How it works

Ask Questions. At Yugen we are not fortune tellers! We believe, based on both research and our own experience, that we are already Spiritual beings living a human life. We are separated from our Spiritual self so that we may take a physical form, through which we can experience our human existence and what it is to be human.

What to expect

Allow the psychic or medium to give the flow of information to you. Although you are not allowed to record a reading for legal reasons, do take a pen and paper with you. If a question pops into mind write it down and ask it later. We like people to ask as many relevant questions as possible and so that we give as much information as possible. We will also ask you if the “information makes sense to you” and if it does then a simple “yes” is good. If the information isn’t making sense, then say “no” and we will ask for further clarification on the information. Remember it’s supposed to make sense to you, not the psychic or medium. Having said that, many clients do go with the flow, even if the information at the time doesn’t fully make sense to them at the time of the reading. Often, they find later, when they have time to absorb all the information that was given, it becomes clear and it all makes sense

Mediumship readings and Proof of Survival

One of the key areas for the medium to cover is to provide proof of survival: i.e. that ‘Grandma’ is who she really says she is! Most Grandma’s have white hair a blue cardigan and made great cakes, your Grandma might like riding motorbikes and be a terrible baker! We at Yugen will do our very best to give evidence from those in Spirit to show you that ‘Grandma’ is present. Many people also experience a feel of profound love.

Take Notes

As we mentioned earlier, we always start sessions by recommending to people that they take notes. Make bullet points rather than taking copious amounts of notes. During our readings there is always a lot of information given, during the Medical Intuitive readings, you will need to write everything down that is said.

Things sometimes come up that don’t make sense at the time of a reading. Even if these things seem insignificant, write them down too. They may make sense to you later on, or someone in the family might be able to confirm the information.

Telephone readings

Telephone readings are a great option for many of our clients who can’t make a 121 sitting. For the telephone reading you need to make sure that you are somewhere where you can concentrate and won’t be disturbed or interrupted. Doing a reading on the train or with others distracting you is far from ideal.
